Beulah Park Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Instructional Coach, Ms. LaBelle, and ELL Professional, Ms. Gonzalez, visited Kindergarten students to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Appreciation of Puerto Rico while learning! The class danced to music, listened to the coqui frog sing, tasted sweet and salty plantains, and played "Jump the Board" while counting by 2's.

School Countdown Celebration
School Countdown Celebration
As the school year comes to an end, many teachers have been participating in a school-year countdown! This countdown centers on one letter of the alphabet to celebrate the last 26 days of school. Ms. Soni’s (Beulah Park) class celebrated “K” day by learning how to fly kites. Students had the opportunity to decorate their own kites after learning the science behind kite flying. These celebrations show us how we're soaring through the last few days of school!

Planting for the Future: Spring 2021
Planting for the Future: Spring 2021
On Saturday, May 15,the Morton Arboretum partnered with District 6 to continue the "Planting for the Future" project. We planted almost 40 new oak trees across our school sites. Volunteers were taught proper tree planting techniques that would promote healthier tree growth.
